Dr. Melvin Nemkov graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and has been practicing medicine and addiction medicine for 45 years and counting.
Dr. Nemkov has been a director of inpatient detox programs for 33 years and has always served patients at an office-based level for substance use disorders. At New Horizons Medical, Dr. Nemkov is focused on the treatment of Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorders and wants to do the best he can to help patients achieve long-term sobriety.
