Outpatient Alcohol Dependence and Opioid Dependence treatment with Buprenorphine (Suboxone) and Naltrexone (Vivitrol) medications.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)* for Alcohol use disorders

In our Outpatient Alcohol Dependency program patients will work closely with medical providers and mental health counselors. We utilize Naltrexone and Vivitrol medications as a part of our comprehensive program. Our clinics offer a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where patients can receive attentive and individualized care in accordance with their specific needs and regain control of their life. Medications

Buprenorphine, Suboxone, Sublocade

Buprenorphine is an FDA-approved medication for the treatment of opioid use disorders. Buprenorphine belongs to a class of drugs called mixed opioid agonist-antagonist, which helps prevent withdrawal symptoms caused after stopping opioids. Learn more about Buprenorphine/Suboxone Use for Addiction Treatment in our medication guide.

Naltrexone and Vivitrol

Naltrexone, administered orally or via injection (Vivitrol), has proven effective and is clinically indicated for both Alcohol and Opioid Use Disorders. Vivitrol, administered monthly, is not a narcotic and is a non-habit-forming medication. It contains a chemical blocker that can help overcome substance abuse habits. Psychiatric Medication for Addiction Disorders

Chemical dependency can often coexist with other mental and psychiatric disorders. We recognize many of our patients benefit from a multidisciplinary and holistic treatment approach. Psychiatry and dual-diagnosis services are available when clinically indicated

Need a primary care referral?

Some insurances require a referral from your primary care PCP to see a specialist. You can call your PCP directly and ask for it or call our office to help with this process. If you decide to do it yourself, please give your primary care provider our NPI 1487983342.

Confidentiality and HIPAA

Alcohol abuse treatment is most effective when you feel comfortable speaking with your provider. At New Horizons Medical, we protect your privacy and confidentiality by following professional ethics as well as state and federal laws. No information about your treatment at NHM is available to anyone outside our organization unless permitted by your writing permission. This includes NHM personnel, parents and family members, friends, or any outside agencies.
