The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at New Horizons Medical is a flexible and innovative treatment designed to support individuals in managing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or dual diagnosis (SUD and mental health conditions). This program combines group therapy, skill-building, and personalized treatment to help you navigate recovery while maintaining your daily commitments.
What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured, comprehensive treatment option that integrates into your daily schedule, allowing you to maintain your responsibilities while receiving the care you need. Our IOP offers group therapy sessions, where you can connect with others facing similar challenges, and individual therapy, providing personalized support tailored to your unique needs.
In addition, the program includes psychiatric evaluations to address mental health concerns and adjust treatment plans as needed. We also offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to help manage cravings and reduce withdrawal symptoms, ensuring a smoother path to recovery.
The IOP provides a flexible yet structured support system, enabling patients to continue living at home or in a sober-living facility. By combining these therapies, the program helps individuals develop the skills necessary for long-term sobriety while still living their day-to-day lives.
Who is it for?
Our IOP is specifically for adults (18+) who are dealing with SUD or a dual diagnosis. Whether you’re seeking help for addiction or managing both substance use and mental health challenges, this program is designed to meet your unique needs.
