This year we are proud to announce that New Horizons Medical will be hosting 2 events for the 2023 Overdose Awareness Day in Massachusetts. The events are focused on engaging with local communities to educate them on drug overdoses, including what constitutes an overdose, how to recognize the signs, and crucial steps to take in an emergency situation. We will also discuss preventive measures to safeguard your loved ones and share the available local resources for drug recovery support and treatment.
How to participate
Our team will be available on-site between 10 am and 4.30 pm to answer any of your questions on this matter. Come by yourself or bring friends, and learn about available resources for you and your loved ones locally, statewide, nationally, and globally.
If you are another organization looking to aid our mission, share any materials with the community, or just want to stop please do so! You can also reach us by sending an email to email@newhorizonsmedical.org or call one of our offices.
Commemorate a friend or a loved one
It is unfortunate that so many of our friends and loved ones have been victims of an overdose. Memories of their smiles, laughter, and being still stay with us. At any of our event locations, you will be able to place a flag in their memory and commemorate your recovery journey as well.
Not able to attend? Send us an email so we will print and place a flag in their memory.
