I’ve been coming here for 6 years, without issue. The staff are always friendly, helpful, kind, and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor than Dr. Laconte.

Doctor Laconte is the best doctor I have ever had- bar none. As for NHM, they helped me put my life back in my hands. I had been in detoxes more than 16 times, and finally a nurse with a heart and a brain suggested I try methadone maintenance, (duh!) which I did for a few years, until Suboxone was more widely used. The first time I tried it, I knew it was nothing like Methadone, no napping at my desk come 2:30 in the afternoon. Not a good impression to make when you’re trying to improve your life. With suboxone I can work, be present and be better. So 22 years after first trying opiates, I am in control and not looking back. I’ve been a patient at NHM for about 6-7 yrs and my dosage is so low most people would think I should just stop. People “like us” can understand why I am taking my time and considering all circumstances and outcomes, something that never happened while on methadone maint. It’s a mental (and emotional and spiritual) addiction as much as physical, and the people there understand this and they treat every patient with respect and dignity. They deserve more than five stars for really knocking it out of the park.
